After more than 10 years in Europe, the now former Norwegian midlaner joins the LCS and changes careers. Kirei, a former LFL jungler, joins him.

In 2021, Nukeduck had already taken a first break from competition which foreshadowed a end of career next. Currently unemployed following his removal from the Excel roster, and with all midlane opportunities closed in 2023 in the LEC, 26-year-old Norwegian Erlend “Nukeduck” Holm has decided to hang up. The former Ninjas in Pyjamas, Team Vitality, Astralis or more recently Excel player is ending his playing career.

And like other great Europeans before him, he decided to move to the NA region. Thus, it is the 100 Thieves team which announces its arrival in the LCS, but not on the Rift. The former midlaner is announced in the coaching staff of the structure for the coming season, as assistant to coach Kaas. We also note that another former player well known to the French, the former jungler of Millenium, GamersOrigin or Misfits, Kirei, is the assistant coach of the academic team. For its part, this is not the first experience since since the Summer Split he ran Mirage Elyandra.
