While the transfer market is officially open on Monday, the Korean champion announces the extension of one year for the jungler Peanut.
While we already know almost all the LEC squads for 2023 and the LCS have started the League of Legends transfer market well, the transfer window is also starting in the LCK. The South Korean champion Gen.G opens hostilities with a contract extension that will please fans of the Korean team: Peanut extends in 2023.
Jungler Han “Peanut” Wang-ho, who joined the team at the start of the season, was making a comeback two years after his departure and spells at LGD (in LPL) or NS RedForce. The 24-year-old has been one of the driving forces behind Gen.G’s success this year, with a 2nd place at the Spring Split, a victory at the Summer Split and finally a semi-final at Worlds 2022. Elected MVP of the season finale this summer, he thus sees the confidence of his leaders renewed.
On the side of the structure, only one departure has been confirmed for the momentthe ADC Ruler left earlier this November. Aside from Chovy, all the other members of the roster have a contract that ends on November 21, so we expect more announcements.
