Faker has just signed for three more seasons, as the coaching staff changes from T1 to LCK.
T1 continues its market after the LoL transfer window has been open for a week (you can also follow the live here or consult the current teams on this link). And for the moment, it is mainly at the level of coaching staff that the structure is busy. After confirming the departure of Polt then the promotion of Bengi as head coach, the LCK team had announced the departure of two other members, including coach Asper.
The club therefore breathes new life into its team of managers since today, two new coaches are arriving: Im “tom“Jae-hyeon and Kim”Roach” Kang-hee. The first had been without a club since September and his departure from PSG Talon where he was an assistant. He is therefore returning to the LCK, a few years after leaving the region and Gen.G. The second is a regular at the club, since he officiated since the start of the season as a coach at T1 Challengers. Former top laner of the team during the 2021 season, Roach is therefore promoted and returns to the elite.
Finally, several contracts have been extended. The third coach, Sky, will stay at the club for one more season, announces the T1 twitter account. He had been promoted from the academy last September. As for Faker, end of suspense: the player has just resigned for three additional seasons. The best player in the world was, like every offseason, in potential discussions with the rest of the world and especially the LCS and their big budgets. T1 has just extended its contract to ensure a substantial buyout in the event of departure.
