With the arrival of Spica in the jungle, FlyQuest’s very Korean-accented roster for the 2023 LCS is now complete.
FlyQuest has almost completely renewed its roster for the 2023 LCS. The team had released all of its players, except the Canadian top laner Philip, recently. In particular the French nugget Toucouille who returns to LFL at Team GO. As the transfer window ends slowly, the five incumbents have been announced daily for the past few days. The latest, unveiled on December 14, is therefore the former TSM jungler, Mingyi “Spica” Lu whose contract has been extended until 2023.
For the rest of the roster, contracts until 2024 have been signed. Alongside Philip, the South Korean Impact arrives from Evil Geniuses. Former SK T1 player, he especially has a good experience in NA, with Cloud9 or Team Liquid for more than 3 seasons. The team will have a very Korean accent this year, since we also find the midlaner VicLawho spent his entire career at KT Rolster, and the ADC Princepassed by DAMWON or Sandbox.
Finally, the last recruit had already been announced at the beginning of December, the Australian support Bill “Eyla” Nguyen, who had been playing with TL Academy for 2 seasons. A total renewal for 2023 which could allow Fly to do a little better than in 2020 with a mid-table during the splits.
