Without its sponsor FTX, but with jungler Bugi: Team SoloMid has unveiled its new roster for the LCS in 2023.

The rosters are starting to confirm in LCS or LCK in the last few days, and it is on the side of TSM that the starting five for 2023 is now announced. Team SoloMid, eighth finalist in the playoffs of the last split, had a burst of pride at the end of the season but will no doubt quickly want to forget this catastrophic 2022 season, with also the departure of sponsor FTX which had signed a record contract in 2021. We could have thought of a radical change on the bench, but in the end, the new roster will retain many players.

Starting with the now oldest member of the team, Colin “Solo” Earnest. The American toplaner, whose contract was coming to an end, was extended for a year, as was the head coach chawy. He will again be associated with the Taiwanese midlaner Maple and Canadian support Chemistry. Two recruits for this transfer window are worth noting. Jungler Lee “Bugi” Seong-yeop first. He will discover the NA after having attended the Latin American championship (Furious Gaming in particular), the Japanese league or the late LMS, Taiwanese league.

Then the botlane will be picked up by Toan “Neo” Tran, a 23-year-old Vietnamese player who had been playing in the LCS academic league for several years, passed by OpTic Academy, IMT A or Dignitas Academy. In 2021, he had even made a freelance in the titular roster of Dignitas. Author of a good 2022 season, he notably took the team to the final of the Proving Grounds LCS this summer. What to reach the playoffs in the next split?
