Mercedes EQE SUV: First look at the spacious hyperscreen interior

• Mercedes will present the all-electric EQE SUV in October 2022.
• There are no pictures of the exterior design yet, but Mercedes has published photos of the interior.
• According to the manufacturer, the car will offer the largest interior space in its class. The dominant element is the hyperscreen.

Mercedes is also sticking to the hyperscreen known from the EQS in the smaller vehicle classes – this is shown by the first look at the interior of the EQE SUV, which will be released in October. The more compact sister model of the well-known EQS SUV should be in the sales rooms from the beginning of 2023.

The pictures now published by the manufacturer make it easy to identify the group affiliation. The EQE SUV was designed as a purely electric vehicle from the start, which is evident from the airy center tunnel, among other things. Mercedes promises the most spacious interior for this vehicle class. There are five seats available.

Eye-catchers are the distinctive ventilation nozzles, the LED ambient lighting that can be adjusted in five colors or the “floating” controls. The driver and front passenger see two merging OLED displays with a diagonal of 12.8 and 12.3 inches.

Mercedes is keeping more details on the M-Class legacy under wraps. The electric car built in the USA will officially celebrate its premiere on October 16th. There is no information on the price yet. The expectations of the “multi-purpose version of the EQE business sedan” are high. After all, Mercedes promises the “essential innovations of the EQS” in a more dynamic overall package.
