(Boursier.com) — On the recommendation of the Appointments, Compensation and Governance Committee, the Board of Directors of Mercialys decided on October 20 to co-opt Jean-Louis Constanza as an independent director. He is appointed to replace Generali Vie, represented by Sébastien Pezet, who announced his resignation as director of the company on July 1. Ratification of this cooptation will be submitted to the General Meeting to be held on April 27, 2023.
The appointment of Jean-Louis Constanza will allow the Board of Directors to benefit from his strong entrepreneurial expertise, as well as a strategic vision of the technological, human and societal challenges for Mercialys’ future developments.
Mercialys’ Board of Directors states that it respects the best governance practices. It is now made up of 9 directors, including 6 independent directors (67%) and respects the principle of diversity, with 56% women and 44% men.
