Besides its Temporis 2, the year 2023 was quite calm for Dofus Rétro. It will conclude just as soberly, with a merger of all the classic servers, as well as the sales hotels.
Server and HDV mergers for Dofus Retro 1.42
Dofus Retro update 1.42 should arrive within a few weeks. Its beta is already scheduled for December 13. During this, the characters from the different servers will all be on the same instance. In addition to classic servers, Auction Houses will also be in the spotlight. The purchase/sale interface will be improved while offering a single instance between Bonta, Brakmar and Astrub. Astrub should only remain at level 60, while all items will be shared between the two major cities. According to Ankama Live, the tax will now be 2%. Also, the number of slots will now directly depend on your level.
In addition to these two fairly major advances for Dofus Retro, the development team plans:
- Significant advances in terms of ergonomics and multiple improvements, such as adding the price of items during sales mode, the possibility of modifying the price of an item without removing it from sale.
- New equipment will likely see the light of day, as will a Grobe dungeon, depending on community feedback
- No new servers at the moment besides the mergers
- There will be no class change in store
- More events will be available throughout the year to liven up the game
- Out-of-class balancing is to be expected, particularly in the professions (If/Manganese)
- The team continues to work on fixing bugs and fighting bots (as usual)
