(CercleFinance.com) – Mersen announces the inauguration of its new plant located in Cheonan, South Korea. This site will enable Mersen to meet the rapidly growing needs of the semiconductor market.
The new facilities will allow Mersen to double its production capacity in South Korea. The new site, with a surface area of 23,000 m2, specializes in the design and manufacture of monocrystalline silicon drawing furnace equipment and complex ion implantation parts for the manufacture of semiconductors.
Thanks to this investment, the turnover of the Korean site could double within 5 years to reach 60 million euros.
