After the compulsory Corona break, the brilliant donation gala, the proceeds of which will benefit the Costume Institute of the Metropolitan Museum of Art, will reopen the gates for the fashion elite. This year it cannot take place on the first Monday in May, as usual, but only in late summer, on September 13, 2021 – the anticipation is all the greater. The Met Gala is as famous as it is popular because it stands for eccentricity, creativity and a passion for tailoring. The glamorous robes are larger, more luxurious or more political than you would otherwise know from the red carpet.
