Every year, the crème de la crème of the fashion industry gathers on the first Monday in May for the Metropolitan Museum of Art’s Costume Institute Benefit Gala Met Gala to take place again this year in the usual style. Everything that is known so far can be read here:
Met Gala 2022: The Co-Host Quartet
This year’s celebrity co-hosts include Crowd Favourite BlakeLively34 and her husband Ryan Reynolds45. No one is surprised by this election. BlakeLively is one of the most stylish celebrities in the world and every year anew inspires with dramatic performances at the Met Gala. Ryan has also impressed in the past with simple but perfectly styled outfits.
Of course, Blake and Ryan won’t be the only famous hosts. Also actress and film director Regina King, 51, and Hamilton composer Lin Manuel Miranda, 41, will welcome the visitors. A decision that is celebrated primarily on the Internet. While Regina King is a familiar face on the Red Carpet the gala is, it will be for Lin Manuel Miranda will be the first appearance.

Also this year, designer Tom Ford, 60, and Instagram boss Adam Mosseri, 39, host and Vogue bossann Wintour, 72, as co-chair. It’s the second year for Tom Ford and Adam Mosseri.
That’s the motto
Unlike in previous years, this year’s motto and the appropriate exhibition will hardly differ from last year’s motto. While the celebs themed last year “In America: A Lexicon of Fashion“ about the Red Carpet step, the motto for 2022 is similar: “In America: At Anthology of Fashion“. The two-part exhibition celebrates the origin and history of American fashion. The first part opened last September as part of the Met Gala. Part Two will be on view at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York from May 5 to September 7, 2022.

Fashion fans can breathe a sigh of relief! Because the Met Gala is again very classic for the famous “FirstMonday Of may“so the May 2, 2022, scheduled. Fortunately, unlike last year, we don’t have to wait too long for the spectacular looks this year.
