Meta acquires three studios, including Armature (Resident Evil 4 VR) and Camouflaj (Marvel’s Iron Man)

Meta organized a conference yesterday in which we were able to discover its ambitions around virtual reality, the new workhorse of Mark Zuckerberg’s company, materialized by the release of the Meta Quest Pro. To achieve these objectives, Meta intends to surround itself with more and more teams specialized in the field, and since it is fashionable, the company has also started to buy video game studios. Meta has therefore got its hands on three studios specializing in VR, and not the least.

Meta is full of studios

We start with what is probably the least known of the three, namely Twisted Pixelto whom we owe titles like The Gunstringer Where Wilson’s Heart.

The name ofStudio frame you may be a little more familiar. It was this studio that we found behind Resident Evil 4 VRwhich had precisely made the heyday of Meta Quest 2. Armature has also recently produced Where the Heart Leads.

Finally, Meta announced the acquisition of camouflagea studio that has earned its fame thanks to Marvel’s Iron Man VR. Suffice to say that Meta therefore did not hesitate to confirm in the process that Marvel’s Iron Man VR was going to land on the Oculus Store on November 3. You will therefore be able to put on your Meta Quest 2 very soon and take yourself for Tony Stark.
