Meta is set to release two Meta Quest VR headsets by 2024

The Mateverse is all very well but without quality equipment to access it… Thus the company Meta would like to launch two new Meta Quest helmets by 2024 to modernize the “stable”.

According to information from TheInformation newspaper (which is therefore aptly named) Meta’s roadmap plans to release literally 4 VR headsets over the next three years. The two Meta Quest headsets will of course be intended for video games. The other two (including the famous Cambria project) will be them for professionals.

Why two gaming headsets? Simply because one of them should be top of the range for techies and the other a bit more affordable. The first should be released in 2023 and the second in 2024.

Cambria is expected to be the most advanced headset in development and was due to be released last year, but the project has faced delays due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Cambria will be the first VR headset focused around Meta, the set would be equipped with outward-facing cameras allowing augmented and virtual reality. Cambria will apparently also have a high-resolution screen that will allow it to be used longer without experiencing eye strain. It is designed to be comfortable over long periods of time despite its heavier weight.

So, are you ready for the Metaverse?
