Even before the launch of the Cconnect 2022and perhaps even aware that his Meta Quest Pro has Ieake from all sides, mark zuckerberg lent himself to the game of fencing in mixed reality through a post on his profile Facebook.

Although pixelated, we can quite easily spot the outlines of the next headset from Metaas revealed at the last leaked relayed here. The video introduces us to the boss of Meta practicing fencing in mixed reality in the company of 2 Olympic champions (note the pass-through in colour !). On his post, sir Zuckerberg didn’t take long to to fence speak out :

Fencing in the metaverse with world number one Olympic gold medalist Lee Kiefer and two-time Olympic medalist Gerek Meinhardt. We’ll be using our new high-end VR headset, coming out next month, with mixed reality, which means you’ll be able to see virtual objects (like your friends’ fencers) alongside the physical world around you.

You will agree, the space seems quite small, which does not however prevent the boss from Meta to move properly. And yes ! Mixed reality makes it possible to overcome the famous Guardianallowing greater freedom of movement. The presentation seems to work and we can note a flawless delivery, the movements respond well, the whole is fluid, and we clearly cannot sulk our pleasure in front of the demonstration which is presented to us.

Let’s tell us right now, it’s been a long time since we were so pleasantly surprised by Meta even though, you will have noticed, we still don’t have legs in the virtual world. That said, Meta currently working at the addition of legs, full body simulation, as well as the promised graphic overhaul ofHorizon Worlds.

We just have to wait for the future Connect 2022 to be fixed on the features and applications that will accompany the Meta Quest Pro. Knowing now what to expect in terms of technical characteristics, we are entitled to demand that we dream!
