METALLIANCE, a subsidiary of the GAUSSIN Group specializing in the study and production of industrial equipment and mobile machinery, announces an order for 4 trains on tires (TSP) from the Hirpinia AV Scarl joint venture, made up of companies Webuild and Astaldi, on behalf of RFI/Italfer. These vehicles are intended for the construction of the rail section linking Apice to Hirpinia as part of the new Naples-Bari high-speed rail line in Italy.
The contract includes the design, manufacture, delivery and commissioning of the vehicles. These are to be delivered in two stages, with the first 2 TSPs arriving on the Italian shipyard in mid-2022.
