(AOF) – Metavisio, a French company specializing in the construction, marketing and sale of laptop computers, has just opened a 100% subsidiary in New Delhi in order to participate in the Indian government’s public tenders and also distribute its computers at the level of the general public in stores or on the Internet. The Metavisio team was received in India by the Minister of Education on Monday, December 12, to present the entire French Thomson IT range, tablets, notebooks and servers.
Another meeting was organized in Paris on Monday December 19 in the presence of the Minister of Education and the Minister of Industry. These two meetings allowed a strong rapprochement, recalling that India had a growing need for access to Technology for all of its students and all of its population.
Metavisio has confirmed the creation of an Indian company 100% subsidiary of Metavisio which is called Metavisio Computing India Private Limited.
The objective of this creation is to apply for public tenders for Tablets and Notebooks which correspond to several hundred million national budgets each year.
Thomson’s price-quality positioning, design and reputation strongly impressed the Indian government, which traveled to Paris last week.
