Eight other departments, mainly in the southwest of France, are placed on orange vigilance (for floods, rain-floods or even avalanches): Lot-et-Garonne, Gers and Tarn-et-Garonne (flood alert) , the Hautes-Pyrénées, Haute-Garonne and Ariège (flood, avalanche and rain-flood warning), the Western Pyrenees (risk of avalanches). Finally in the northern part of France, the department of Aisne has also been placed on orange alert for risk of flooding.
