Clermont-Ferrand, September 21, 2022 – (FR0004177046 METEX), METabolic EXplorer (METEX), leader in industrial fermentation allowing the manufacture of ingredients of natural origin intended for the animal nutrition, cosmetics and biopolymer markets, provides an update on the situation of its factory in Amiens.
Following recent press articles, some of which have disseminated erroneous information about the Group, METabolic EXplorer indicates that its subsidiary METEX NØØVISTAGO has started a consultation of its employee representative bodies with a view to temporarily adapting the volume of acid production amino acids on its Amiens site.
This flexibility of the production tool will contribute to enabling the Group to cope with the persistent impacts of the current economic context (difficulties in the livestock sector and a very volatile inflationary context on raw materials and energy in particular). Commercial activity will continue to operate normally.
