Paris, August 3, 2023 – Méthanor (Euronext Growth, FR0011217710 ALMET), a company specializing in the financing and operation of renewable energy and energy efficiency projects, announces a buyback of convertible bonds issued by Ogorje Green , a subsidiary of the Akuo group, to finance its wind power plant in Ogorje in Croatia.
In 2015 Akuo commissioned a wind power plant in Ogorje in Croatia, which today has 14 wind turbines, whose turbines are Vestas brand and model V112 – 3MW. The total theoretical power of the plant is 43.1 MW. Its production is sold to the public energy company of Croatia (Hrote) at a contractual price defined within the framework of a contract (PPA) which runs until the end of the year 2029.
Convertible bonds were issued in addition to the project leader’s equity contribution, in order to strengthen the company’s balance sheet, in support of bank financing.
Méthanor has decided to buy back part of these convertible bonds maturing on December 31, 2032 for an amount of €2.5 million.
