Paris, October 3, 2022 – Méthanor (Euronext Growth, FR0011217710 ALMET), a company specializing in the financing and operation of renewable energy projects, announces an investment of €500,000 in the form of a capital increase in Agrogaz .
The project concerns the construction of a methanisation plant in Fontrailles in the Hautes-Pyrénées. The company Agrogaz, which manages this project, plans to eventually methanize around 70,000 tonnes of materials from the livestock sectors of more than 70 farmers. The annual production of biomethane from this new plant should eventually reach the equivalent of 29,000 MWh.
Méthanor participated in the financing of the project to the tune of €500,000 as part of a capital increase carried out by Agrogaz to finalize the construction of this unit, which will have mobilized nearly €20 million in investment.
Since its creation, Méthanor has carried out a total of fifteen financing operations for renewable energy projects, in capital, quasi-equity or debt.
