(Boursier.com) — Methanor , a company specializing in the financing and operation of renewable energy projects, announces the sale of its interests in the hydroelectric power stations of Chavort and Aqua Bella for a total amount of 1.9 ME. As part of an operation to overhaul its portfolio, Méthanor sold its shares and current accounts held in the operating companies of the two hydroelectric power stations of Chavort and Aqua Bella.

The company will thus receive a total amount of 1,910 KE in cash. This payment results, on the one hand, in a reversal of provisions in the amount of 562,500 euros on the fully provisioned investment in the Chavort power plant, and on the other, in a capital gain on the disposal of 166 KE on its investment in the Aqua Bella plant.
In addition, Méthanor will collect 1,186 KE, interest included, under its current account in the company Aqua Bella

After taking into account these disposals and the very good results of the 1st half of 2022, Méthanor is able to announce that its net income will show a sequential increase at the end of the second half of 2022.

Since its creation, Méthanor has carried out a total of fifteen financing operations for renewable energy projects, in equity, quasi-equity or debt, and continues to study various investment opportunities.
