Who doesn’t know the franchise Metro Today ? Exodus, 2023, Last Light… The games have crossed generations and left their mark on the minds of players. To immerse ourselves a little more in this postapocalyptic universe, we learn of the coming of a virtual reality production ; yes, it’s official! Her name ? Metro Awakening.

Metro Awakening is a first-person adventure designed for VR. The title combines ambient exploration, stealth and combat, for an ultra-immersive Metro experience.
It’s 2028.
The survivors of nuclear Armageddon cling to their existence in the galleries of the Moscow metro, the last bastion and purgatory of civilization where ghosts and spirits haunt the living.
You play as Serdar, a doctor who does not hesitate to brave the darkness, radiation and threats lurking in the subway to find his wife and the cure she desperately needs. Your courage and your mental health will be undermined, but you will still have to learn to forge a path between life and death, the spiritual and the rational, to let the being you will become flourish…

- Lose yourself in an initiatory spiritual epic exploring the supernatural origins of the work created by Dmitry Glukhovsky.
- Experience for the first time intense and oppressive VR gameplay in the corridors of the subway, with the fog accumulating in the gas mask, the filters and ammunition becoming scarce, and the torches flickering then extinguishing in the darkness.

Unfortunately, there is no release date, but Metro Awakening will be released in 2024 on PSVR 2, PC, and Meta Quest.
