Metroid Prime Remastered is coming to Switch

While players are still waiting for a Metroid Prime 4Nintendo leaned towards a remaster of Metroid Prime first of the name. Unveiled during Nintendo Direct last night, the game is already available on the eShop for €39.99. A physical release of the game is scheduled for March 3.

For this re-reading of Metroid Prime, Nintendo has of course come to improve the visuals of its title as well as the audio, but also brings a touch of modern comfort to it. It is thus possible to opt for new controls, more ergonomic than in the 2003 version. In particular via the use of the double joysticks of the Switch. In order to open up to a wider audience, a new Casual difficulty has appeared. Enough to allow novices of the genre to be more resistant during the fighting. Fans of the license will be able to find a virtual gallery containing music and concept art of the title.

As a reminder, Metroid Prime embarks the bounty hunter Samus Aran on the planet Tallon IV. Many dangers await him during his mission to shed light on the experiments carried out by the Space Pirates. She must also face the presence of mutant monsters due to the presence of phazon which poisons the planet.
