Metropole TV (M6): net profit more than doubled in Q3 – 10/30/2023 at 6:17 p.m.


(CercleFinance.com) – The M6 ​​group publishes a consolidated turnover of 296 ME for the 3rd quarter of its financial year, up 2.1% compared to the same period a year earlier.

Concretely, advertising activity increased by 5.7% in the 3rd quarter, compared to the 3rd quarter of 2022, to reach 232.3 ME, in particular thanks to the recovery of the TV advertising market and the broadcast of unifying sporting events, such as as the Women’s Football World Cup and the Rugby World Cup.

On the other hand, non-advertising activity fell by 9.4%, to €63.7 million, indicates the group, which points to the deconsolidation of Best Of TV.

If the group reports a consolidated current operating profit (EBITA) of 55.8 ME, stable in one year (+0.1%), the EBIT of continuing activities stands at 71.5 ME (+50%) while the net result more than doubled to reach 53 ME (+119.6%).
