Crown Prince Haakon and Crown Princess Mette-Marit of Norway exchanged loving looks and gestures during their visit to the province of Viken.

In the corona pandemic, Crown Princess Mette-Marit of Norway (48) stepped down a bit due to her chronic pulmonary fibrosis. Now she is beaming again at the side of her husband Crown Prince Haakon (48). The two are currently visiting four parishes in the province of Viken for three consecutive days. The tour started yesterday, Tuesday (September 28th) in Indre Østfold. In a speech at Høytorp Fortress, Haakon expressed how grateful the two of them are to be able to travel and meet people again after the lockdowns.

“We went through a very special time. It is therefore particularly nice that we can finally get together again,” quoted several media outlets. He and Mette-Marit thought it was “important that people can gather” because then “the most beautiful things” would happen. “We love to meet people, as we are allowed to do it with you today. We are very grateful for that,” continued the Crown Prince.

Radiant appearance of the royal couple

On Wednesday (September 29th) we continued in Moss, where the two llamas stroked and showed their athletic talent on the football pitch. Encounters with the local residents were not neglected, Mette-Marit and Haakon greeted the population and spoke to children, among others.

In the evening the two appeared for a dinner in Frederikstad. Haakon wore an elegant black suit and tie for the occasion, Mette-Marit dressed in Norwegian costume. The two seem to enjoy their tour together: During their visit, the royals exchanged amorous glances, held hands, beamed and laughed competitively.
