Mette-Marit from Norway: Together with the family on an orphaned ski slope

The ski slopes around Oslo are actually full at this time of year, but at the moment there are only three people around: Norway's crown prince family, of all people, consisting of Princess Mette-Marit (46), Prince Haakon (46) and daughter Princess Ingrid Alexandra (16 ). Mette-Marit posted a photo series on Instagram from her trip and was visibly proud that despite her pulmonary fibrosis she was apparently able to climb the mountain without an elevator.

"How nice Easter is in Oslo"

"I made it to the summit," wrote the princess, who started her family outing from her home on Gut Skaugum near the Norwegian capital. "How nice Easter is in Oslo. Remember to keep an eye on each other and keep a distance of two meters from those you like but don't live with, and everyone else," added Mette-Marit to her post .

The family typically spends Easter traditionally in a hut in Uvdal, like thousands of other Norwegians. Due to the Corona crisis, the government there advised against all trips, including the usual hut holidays. Like her compatriots, the royal family spends Easter in their own four walls and in the surrounding area.
