Metz blue launches new Roku TV with QLED panel

METZ blue is expanding its Roku TV range with a new upscale model. We introduce you to the MQE7001 with QLED panel and tell you what functions it has.

The MQE7001 is the latest addition to the young, smart TV and streaming-oriented brand METZ blue. The 4K television promises impressive picture quality and an excellent variety of colors. This is supposed to be ensured by QLED technology and support for a number of image standards.

The MQE7001 offers support for HLG, HDR10, HDR10+ and Dolby Vision. The smart television is equipped with extensive Roku TV functions and can be connected to the Internet via LAN and WLAN.

MQE7001 now available in three sizes

The integrated triple tuner for satellite, cable and antenna reception guarantees linear television. A CI+ interface is available for pay TV reception. External devices can be connected via three HDMI inputs.

In terms of sound, the MQE7001 supports Dolby Digital, Dolby Digital Plus, Dolby Atmos, surround and DTS surround sound. It also offers two USB ports, and time-shifted television is also possible via a data storage device connected to this. Provided the data carrier has at least 16 GB and a sufficiently good writing and reading speed. The MQE7001 is available in sizes 43, 50 and 65 inches. A 55-inch variant is expected to follow at the end of the third quarter of 2024.

The recommended retail prices are 499 euros (43 inches), 549 euros (50 inches) and 699 euros (65 inches). All three models are now available in specialist retailers and online.
