He had a bouquet of flowers delivered to her, she wanted to return the favor. A police officer tried to provide cannabis to her companion imprisoned in Metz prison (Moselle). Caught in the act by a prison guard, the policewoman admitted the facts.

“I failed and made the first big mistake of my life. He had asked me several times but I had refused. And there, as there had been the flowers, I wanted to please him, ”admitted the defendant before the criminal court.

This small thank you – 57 grams of cannabis resin – could well cost him his career. In the police for 25 years, this mother, working in the Pays-Haut (Meurthe-et-Moselle), has been suspended pending a disciplinary council. Concretely, the latter risks the dismissal of the national police.

According to information from the Republican Lorrain, the prosecution has requested a six-month suspended prison sentence against her. As for his companion, a notorious and multi-recidivist offender, six months in prison without accommodation have been requested.

Ultimately, the court sentenced the two defendants to four months’ detention. For her, the sentence was accompanied by a suspended sentence and a non-registration on her criminal record.
