Fourteen people were killed on Friday when a Mexican Navy helicopter crashed in the northwestern state of Sinaloa. “A Black Hawk helicopter was involved in an accident whose cause is unknown at this timethe Navy said in a statement.
“On board the helicopter were 15 people, 14 of whom unfortunately lost their lives and one is receiving medical treatment“, we added from the same source. The Navy said the aircraft crashed while on a mission.
The accident is not related to the operation during which the historical drug trafficker Rafael Caro Quintero was arrested Friday in Sinaloa, assures this source.
