Should “Black Panther” and “Creed” star Michael B. Jordan become Superman? In a new interview, the actor becomes clear.

Superman has been one of the most popular superheroes ever for decades. For some time there have been rumors that “Black Panther” and “Creed” star Michael B. Jordan (34) could possibly slip into the role of the character on the screen. The actor clarifies what the actor thinks of it and whether there are actually such plans now in conversation with the industry magazine “The Hollywood Reporter”.

Jordan is flattered

Jordan explains that he is flattered that fans want to see him in the role. “It’s definitely a compliment,” said the 34-year-old. Shortly afterwards, however, he also makes it clear that he will not embody the character. The journal reported a few weeks agothat the producer and director JJ Abrams (54) and the writer Ta-Nehisi Coates (45) are working on a Superman reboot. Jordan is sure that it will be a worthwhile project, but he “just wants to watch”.

Even so, Jordan has a lot to do. At the beginning of March it was officially announced that he no longer only wanted to appear as an actor. In the third part of the “Creed” series he will play the leading role again, but also make his debut as a director. Directing was “always an endeavor” Jordans, it said at the time, among other things in a message.
