22 years ago, Michael Douglas and Catherine Zeta-Jones said yes. Now the actor remembered the special day.
Michael Douglas (78) and Catherine Zeta-Jones (53) got married 22 years ago. Now he congratulated his loved one on the anniversary. With his followers on Instagram he shared a cute photo collage of two pictures. In one photo, the two Hollywood stars beam into the camera together on their wedding day. In the other snap, the newlywed couple kisses lovingly. The bride wears a white dress paired with an updo, tiara and veil. Douglas can be seen in a suit with a white bow tie and a glass of champagne in hand.
“Happy anniversary to my dear Catherine! I love you so much,” writes the 78-year-old and links his wife. Zeta-Jones also remembered the special day and a recent picture of the two divided.
In the photo, the couple kisses in an idyllic setting. The ”Basic Instinct” star is shirtless while his wife dons an off-duty look that includes a sun hat. “22 years and 1 day!” the actress commented on the post. She also congratulated her husband on the anniversary and added: Love you, my darling.”
Your birthday is on the same day
The dream couple only celebrated their birthday together in September. The two were born on September 25: he in 1944, she in 1969. Douglas and Zeta-Jones met and fell in love at the 1998 Deauville Film Festival in France. The two wed on November 18, 2000 at the Plaza Hotel in New York City. Zeta-Jones and Douglas have a son and a daughter together. Douglas also has another son from his first marriage, the actor Cameron Douglas (43).
