Billionaire Ron Burkle is said to have bought Michael Jackson's Neverland Ranch. Apparently he made a bargain.

Michael Jackson's (1958-2009) Neverland Ranch in California has apparently been sold. According to the Wall Street Journal, the new owner is billionaire Ron Burkle. He is said to have paid $ 22 million for the property at Los Olivos, near Santa Barbara. Burkle worked with Michael Jackson before his death, it is said.

Burkle seems to have got a bargain with Neverland Ranch. The price for the property is said to have been $ 100 million in 2015, but fell to $ 67 million a year later. Last year the property was offered for 31 million, according to the Wall Street Journal. In addition to a large villa and a pool house, the ranch has a separate building with a cinema that can seat 50 people and a dance studio. There is also a Disney-style train station, fire station and barn.

Property was searched

Michael Jackson owned the Los Olivos estate from 1987 until his death in June 2009. On the site there was, among other things, an amusement park and a zoo. Neverland Ranch received negative attention when it was searched for abuse allegations by the authorities. Jackson was later acquitted.
