Michael Moore: The filmmaker fears Trump's re-election

Oscar-winning documentary filmmaker Michael Moore fears that Trump will be re-elected.

It's been four years since award-winning documentary filmmaker Michael Moore (66, "Fahrenheit 9/11") released his last film. But it has not become quiet about the self-confessed supporter Bernie Sanders. Since December 2019 Moore has moderated his political podcast "Rumble with Michael Moore", which now has 16 million followers.

Moore is primarily mobilizing for the US election there. His most important message: Trump must be voted out! But meanwhile the political provocateur has doubts as to whether this will succeed. The reason is false information from Trump supporters in voter surveys. The political platform "The Hill" said Moore: "The Trump vote is always counted down." Trump voters are often very suspicious of pollsters and claim they voted for the Democrats.

Moore warned, "It's all wrong news for them, remember. It's not an exact count". Moore estimates Biden's lead at just four points, which is within the margin of error and would be just a wafer-thin majority that could break.

Michael Moore interviewed Robert De Niro and Oliver Stone for his podcast

For his podcast, which now has over 136 episodes, which speaks primarily to the political left in the USA from the soul, Michael Moore also meets with celebrities such as the film actor Robert De Niro or the director Oliver Stone. During the protests following the assassination of George Floyd, Moore released "specials" from Portland and spoke to local activists about the violent clashes with the police.
