Michael Schumacher will be 53 years old on January 3rd. Congratulations from his son Mick and the Formula 1 world.
Formula 1 legend Michael Schumacher turns 53 today on January 3rd. In addition to numerous fans, his son Mick (22), who is himself a racing driver, also congratulated numerous fans on social media. “Happy Birthday, Dad”, he writes in an emotional post on Instagram. Mick Schumacher publishes an old photo from his childhood that shows him on his father’s arm.
“Days like these were important for my growing passion for motorsport – and they still influence it to this day,” explains the 22-year-old. “I am grateful for all the experiences you have given me and I look forward to making new ones in the future.”

Formula 1 and his former racing teams Ferrari and Mercedes also congratulate Michael Schumacher, who had a serious accident in a skiing accident in 2013. “‘Legend’ is an understatement”, it says on the official Twitter account of Formula 1 among other things next to the hashtag #KeepFightingMichael (Eng. “Fight on, Michael”). The Mercedes racing team congratulates an “F1 icon” and also writes that Schumacher should continue to fight. “We are all with you, Michael”, is in a tweet on the Scuderia Ferrari account: “Today and every day.”
