German government is looking for the superstar: US media are now also picking up on the topic of Michael Wendler – and why he is in the USA.

Now emigrant Michael Wendler (48) is also writing negative headlines in his adopted home USA. The news channel NBC 2 is now reporting that the "international superstar" alias Wendler is avoiding financial obligations at his home in Cape Coral, Florida, that would await him in his German homeland. "The German government" is "after him," it reads.

Ulli Winckler, a former friend of the musician, also has a say in the article. Wendler told him that he had no plans to ever come back to Germany. And the scandal that Wendler's comparison of the German corona measures with a concentration camp caused is also taken up by NBC 2. Then he finally lost his job with the German counterpart of "American Idol" – in other words, "Germany is looking for the superstar".
