Michel Drucker is in turmoil. The TV host who presented his latest Can’t wait for Sunday on France 2 has recently been victim of a scam. According The Parisian in an article published on Monday, June 27, the 79-year-old man was indeed defrauded of a sum of 10,000 eurosafter a phone call.

It all started on Friday, June 24. The facilitator receives phone call from a fake bank agent. The latter presents itself as a “bank fraud agent” BNP Paribas, a bank where he is a client. He then explains to him that he is very worried, because he has just seen that a “fraudulent transaction in the amount of 10,000 euros” is in progress, from his bank to another account, located in Ivory Coast.

Faced with the assertions of the alleged bank agent, Michel Drucker does not think and follows his instructions, in order to cancel this fraudulent operation. For this he must make two transfers remotely, one for 7,500 euros and the second for 2,500 euros. Finally, the husband of Dany Saval realizes, too late, the deception.

The latter would have lodged a complaint in its place. The police must now investigate in order to try to find the fraudsters who scammed the man, soon to be in his eighties.
