Michel Drucker in the cold with Laurent Delahousse: his clarification of their estrangement

If viewers will find Vivement Dimanche on France 3 from the start of the 2022 school year, Michel Drucker returned to his estrangement with Laurent Delahousse. Are they still on bad terms?

It’s a small revolution in the world of television. The show Can’t wait for Sundaybroadcast on France 2, will now be broadcast on the third channel, during the next school year 2022. An announcement which apparently seduced its host, Michel Drucker: “When Stéphane Sitbon-Gomez (number 2 of France Télévisions, editor’s note) offered it to me, I thought it was great. I’m moving. France 3 is part of my DNA. I will be its new incarnation with Cyril Féraud “. If the program was broadcast in the middle of the afternoon, then Can’t wait for Sunday will be found much earlier in front of a certain Laurent Delahousse, with his show 1:25 p.m.broadcast on France 2, after the JT.

And apparently, between the two animators, the current does not pass at all. Indeed, Michel Drucker had knocked out the journalist from France 2 in the columns of the Parisian : “Laurent Delahousse is not a good guy. He asked for my place for almost ten years. Each season, he threatened management with leaving if he did not have the 7 p.m. while I was a locomotive for his log”. But then, have the tensions subsided since then? “There is no more history between us”, said the host.

Michel Drucker, determined to defend his program

According to him, there is no competition between their two programs : “It’s a real counter-programming. At home, there will be laughter, humor and entertainment. He’s a magazine”, he added. Relations between Michel Drucker and Laurent Delahousse therefore seem much better than before. Fortunately, since the two hosts are part of the same television group. In any case, viewers will get used to this new programming on France 3.
