(CercleFinance.com) – Michelin and Safran announce that the Brazilian airline Azul has selected their PresSense connected tire and its pressure measurement system to equip its fleet of Airbus A320, A321 and Embraer 195-E1 and 195-E2 , i.e. nearly 110 devices.
PresSense aims to simplify maintenance operations for airlines by enabling the measurement of aircraft tire pressure in a dematerialized way, just 45 minutes after landing.
The product has undergone several successful in-service trials with various airlines, enabling Safran and Michelin to offer a mature solution. The marketing of this innovative digital solution is entrusted to Michelin.
