After the death of Prince Philip, music star Mick Jagger also mourns. On Twitter, the singer paid tribute to the Queen’s husband.

Mick Jagger (77, “Angie”) has spoken out on social media to pay tribute to Prince Philip. Elizabeth II’s husband (94) died on April 9 at the age of 99. Jagger wrote on Twitter: “I am very saddened by the death of HRH Prince Philip Duke of Edinburgh. In addition to his extensive charitable work, he has been a very active promoter of many of the sports organizations that my father worked for and that have helped so many young athletes. He will be fondly remembered. ” Mick Jagger’s father worked as a teacher.

Jagger’s Rolling Stones colleague Keith Richards (77) also mourned in a post on Instagram. He wrote: “Rest in Peace HRH, Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh.” He expressed his “deepest condolences” to the Queen and the Royal Family. Stones guitarist Ronnie Wood (73) also explainedthat he was “very sad” to hear of Prince Philips’ death. “It was an honor to have met the Duke and to work for his charitable causes.”
