44 years separate Mick Jagger (81) and his girlfriend Melanie Hamrick (37). But the choreographer and ex-ballerina is not worried about the age difference and what people think about it. She revealed this in Interview with the “Sunday Times”. “I don’t think about it,” the American told the British newspaper.
She puts “blinders on” to block out public opinion. Instead, she asks herself: “Am I happy? Yes. Are the people in my life happy? Yes. Am I hurting anyone? No.” Everyone else should “mind their own business.”
Melanie Hamrick believes caring about what other people think of her is unhealthy. “Everyone is going to have their own opinion,” she said. “If you think about other people’s opinions, no matter where you are in life, you’re going to have a problem and you’re going to have to analyze it.”

Mick Jagger and Melanie Hamrick have been together for ten years. The couple met at the beginning of 2014 at a Rolling Stones concert in Tokyo. Hamrick, who was 27 at the time, was still a member of the American Ballet Theatre ensemble. She was not impressed by the rock star when they first met. For her, only ballet dancers were “the gods”. Because: “They are the ones you study and look up to.”
In the summer of the same year, Mick Jagger and Melanie Hamrick got together. In 2016, she gave birth to their son Deveraux. Mick Jagger has a total of eight children with five women; his eldest daughter is 53 years old.
