Racing driver Mick Schumacher raves about his model friend Laila Hasanovic: “I’m really happy,” he says about the relationship.

Just a few days ago, racing driver Mick Schumacher (24) confirmed his relationship with Danish model Laila Hasanovic (22). Now he follows up and raves about her in the highest tones. “I am really happy”, he says in an interview with RTL about his new love.

On August 13 he had published a black and white picture on Instagram, in which the two lovebirds on board a boat smile at the camera. His only comment at the time: a white heart. On her Instagram account there is more to the point: she posted a week ago a photo of both tightly wrapped in bikini and swimming trunks. In addition: a red heart.

In the future, they will “not hide” their love on social media, as the son of racing legend Michael Schumacher (54) explains to the broadcaster.

Formula 1 comeback planned

Laila Hasanovic comes from Copenhagen and works as a model and influencer. She has around 195,000 Instagram followers who she takes with her on her travels around the world. In January she went on safari in South Africa. “My happy place” (German: My place of happiness) she wrote. In April she was skiing in Aspen. Then she celebrated at the Coachella Festival in California. Other travel destinations in recent months have included Rome, Florence, Miami, the Maldives and Barbados.

There is also a connection to racing: In May 2022, she appeared on the sidelines of the Formula 1 race in Monaco. Mick Schumacher is not the first athlete at her side. She was previously with Danish footballer Jonas Wind (24), who moved from FC Copenhagen to VfL Wolfsburg in early 2022.

Mick Schumacher is also concentrating on his professional future. In the past two seasons he drove for the Haas F1 team in Formula 1, but for the current season he has not been given a permanent place in the cockpit. He is currently employed as a reserve driver by Mercedes and McLaren. But he is working on his comeback: “Every team is a good team. My job is to get back to Formula 1. I’m stuck with that and I’m fighting for it,” he promises in an interview with the broadcaster.
