Michael Schumacher's son will start in Formula 1 in 2021

The son of Formula 1 legend Michael Schumacher will also compete in the premier motorsport class for the first time in 2021.
The Formula 1 career of motorsport legend Michael Schumacher (51) began in Belgium in 1991. 30 years later, his son, Mick Schumacher (21), will also celebrate his Formula 1 debut. Haas has now announced that. Mick Schumacher will drive for the racing team in the premier class of motorsport from 2021. The 21-year-old has been committed for several years.
Schumacher is "speechless"
"I always believed that this dream would come true," writes Schumacher on Instagram about his commitment. It is an "unbelievable feeling" to be able to drive for the Haas F1 team from next year and he could "not be happier". In another statement, the young racing driver explains that he is "simply speechless".
According to Haas, Mick Schumacher will be racing twice in December – in training for the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix on December 11 and in the young driver test at the Yas Marina Circuit on December 15.
