Microids is tackling yet another new license, this time diving into animation from the early 2000s with Totally spies ! – Cyber Mission. The 3 young university students are preparing to move to Singapore on October 31. At the helm of this adaptation, Balio Studio which plans a release on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One and Series as well as Nintendo Switch.
The title is intended to be an action-packed adventure punctuated by the civilian lives of young women, punctuated here and there by phases of infiltration. We thus move from the exploration of the city of Singapore where collectables are scattered, to missions behind closed doors which emphasize discretion. To help them, the Spies have access to an arsenal of high-tech gadgets. These are used both to divert the attention of enemies and to solve puzzles to progress in missions.
Unfortunately, Microids did not accompany the presentation of
Totally spies ! – Cyber Mission of a trailer. So we don’t really know how all this is going to look despite the presence of a few images. And these don’t really make you want to, in addition to not clarifying anything. Two completely different points of view are presented. But we won’t know more.
From what we know, however, this adventure can be played solo or in cooperation. Up to 3 players can share the role of Spies, but locally only. Each player will be able to play one of the 3 spies and help their comrades with their gadgets.
