Micropole Group: Q1 2022 revenue of €33.5m, up 11.8%

Micropole, an international consultancy and innovative technologies group specializing in Data, Cloud & Digital, achieved revenue of 33.5 million euros in the first quarter of 2022, up 11.8% compared to 29 .9 million euros published over the same period in 2021. At constant scope and exchange rates, revenue increased by 10.5%. Revenue for the first quarter of 2021 was still affected by the health crisis, resulting in a favorable base effect. This change in turnover for the 1st quarter of 2022 confirms a return to sustained growth.
Sustained growth
Business in Benelux continued to contribute significantly to the group’s momentum, posting a very good performance (+22.5%), driven by the success of Cloud offers and by business in Luxembourg following the acquisition of Tomorrow Services in mid-March 2021. Organic growth amounts to 10.7%.
Business in Switzerland is also up sharply by 24.3% (18% adjusted for the exchange rate effect).
In France, revenue grew organically by 7.5% with very strong momentum in data and cyber security and more moderate growth in digital and in the Regions.
The strategy of increasing the added value of the group is confirmed with a further increase in its ADR over this quarter (+1.6%). The activity rate is not yet optimal for this quarter, despite significant pressure on resources with an upturn in turnover and recurring recruitment difficulties.
Business outlook
The Group has not yet observed any direct effect of the Ukrainian crisis on its activity, but remains very attentive to the potential consequences of this event on the international economy.
In this uncertain period, Micropole is maintaining its medium-term ambitions, in particular profitability, and remains confident about the future development of the markets in which the Group is positioned.
