(CercleFinance.com) – Telefonica Tech, the Telefonica subsidiary dedicated to digital activities, announced on Monday the signing of an alliance with Microsoft in order to offer cybersecurity services to companies around the world.
Under the terms of the agreement, Telefonica Tech plans to integrate Microsoft’s advanced security and artificial intelligence capabilities into its own cybersecurity portfolio.
Their collaboration must also encompass threat detection and response, identity management, intelligence and data management services.
The Spanish operator will also use ‘Microsoft Copilot for Security’, an assistant that helps security teams protect their businesses against threats.
This announcement comes as Microsoft announced last February its intention to establish an innovation center dedicated to responsible AI in Spain, in cooperation with Telefonica Tech among others.
The agreement was made official today at the RSA conference in San Francisco.
