Canadair pilot, mountain rescuer, fertilizer spreader or even tourist hot air balloon operator… so many aviation professions that we will be able to embody to the end of the wings in Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024, bringing together the most unusual aircraft to establish itself as an even more complete simulation than the previous version. If the connecting lines between the 2020 and 2024 editions are not yet very clear, we can bet that the many updates made over the years will be preserved: Asobo and their affiliates have reconstructed the entire Earth using data very high quality satellite, then patiently hand picked entire continents to polish them, and this titanic work will certainly not be thrown out with the bathwater.

Available, as its name suggests so well, in 2024, Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 will be playable on PC and Xbox Series X|S. Here day one in the cloud and in the Game Pass.
Towards new horizons
But before simulating real trades, the current Microsoft Flight Simulator will begin its descent through a collaboration with Dune: the dragonfly-winged Ornithopter will arrive on November 3 to celebrate – and promote – the international release of Dune – Part Two. “Every cockpit system and mechanism has been authentically replicated, and every unique aspect of its flight model has been captured. Master the intricate controls of one of the most dynamic aircraft ever designed as you pilot your Ornithopter through the breathtaking landscapes of Arrakis, a mysterious desert planet.“
We don’t know exactly what the playing surface of Arrakis will be, which seems to be a fairly massive expansion, but the few images shared show that we can fly over a spice mining operation, the famous psychotropic-magic substance in heart of Dunes. Nothing says whether this prestigious collaboration will be transferred to Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024.
Asobo had already lent itself to the game of crossovers by adding the Pelican from Halo last year.
