After the United States, it’s Canada’s turn to be improved with the World Update 11.
On the program, 5 completely modeled airports, 9 missions, 3 Bush tripsso many landing challenges and discovery flights, and above all 87 carefully digitized points of interest, to be discovered in the trailer above.
Canada is full of incredible sights to be seen from the skies: magnificent urban architecture, its northern coasts where the waves crash, and wide expanses of tundra, glaciers and towering peaks. The eleventh update to the World of Microsoft Flight Simulator invites you to explore this great country and its very different landscapes, with unprecedented resolution and graphic quality!
For this update, the Microsoft Flight Simulator team used extensive geospatial data, including digital elevation models, satellite imagery, and aerial photography. In addition to this data, models and imagery, the update brings you 12 city regions enhanced with the latest photogrammetric data as well as 87 hand-crafted points of interest.
The Eleventh World Update contains:
- 5 hand-designed airports, including:
- British Columbia’s Castlegar / West Kootenay Regional Airport (CYCG);
- Victoria International Airport;
- Vancouver Island.
- 9 exciting missions:
- Three bush trips (Vancouver Island, Newfoundland and the Canadian Rockies);
- Three landing challenges (Castlegar, Barkerville and Calgary);
- Three discovery flights (Vancouver, Montreal and Toronto).
