According to the Semafor site, Microsoft intends to invest $10 billion in OpenAI, the startup that made ChatGPT, a revolutionary chatbot, available to the public.

Rumor has it that the Redmond firm would like to invest an additional $10 billion in OpenAI. Indeed, Satya Nadella’s company has already injected a billion dollars into the young startup since 2019.
Microsoft will become a 49% shareholder of OpenAI
In addition to taking advantage of this fantastic technology which we do not yet perceive the enormous impact it will have on our lives, Microsoft will pocket 75% of the profits made by the startup until the Redmond firm recovers its bet. Once his investment has been recovered, the company will become a 49% shareholder of OpenAI.

The field of applications of Artificial Intelligence is infinite, and when it comes to sharing the benefits, there will be many called, but few chosen.
