When pressed, the new Copilot key opens Copilot in the Windows experience, making it easier for Windows 11 users to integrate Copilot into their daily work.

Copilot in Windows can help users perform a series of tasks on their PC, including adjusting PC settings, arranging windows, summarizing text, generating images, and more, all at from a single prompt.
This implementation is just the first step in what Microsoft is calling “the year of the smart PC.”
