Microsoft took advantage of its latest event to announce the Surface Pro 11, its new 2-in-1 tablet. But this new edition is not content with minor improvements: it marks a real break with the past.

That’s it, it’s done, Microsoft has announced the switch from its Surface Pro to Qualcomm and artificial intelligence. After the new Surface Laptop, the Surface Pro 11 has a lot to show for it.

First of all, the move to Qualcomm means increased power for the Surface Pro 11. Thanks to its Snapdragon X Plus and X Elite processor, Microsoft’s new tablet offers twice as much power as the Surface Pro 9. C This is what Microsoft calls a Copilot+ PC. This means, here, that Microsoft is quickly switching to the ARM architecture with this new collection of ARM PCs.

But the real revolution of the Surface Pro 11 is its integration of artificial intelligence. Thanks to its ultra-powerful neural processing unit (NPU), Microsoft’s new tablet is capable of performing more than 45 trillion operations per second (TOPS). This allows it to offer cutting-edge AI features, such as Recall, Cocreator and Live Captions.

Recall, for example, is a tool that remembers everything you do on your computer, and allows you to find any information in an instant. Cocreator, on the other hand, is an app that uses AI to help you create content, automatically generating ideas and suggestions. Finally, Live Captions is a feature that transcribes the words of your interlocutors in real time.

In short, the move to Qualcomm and the AI ​​of the Surface Pro 11 allows users to gain productivity and creativity, by offering them innovative and efficient tools and features.

Finally, the Surface Pro 11 still stands out for its detachable format, which allows it to be transformed into a tablet in an instant. The keyboard, Flex Keyboard, brings something new: it can be used even detached from the screen thanks to a Bluetooth connection and a battery.
